The elegant Villa Sofia is also a peaceful and tranquil venue for meetings where entertaining social and/or edutainment or activity programmes are also available.
During their ten years abroad, Heini Niklas-Salminen, Master of Arts (Education), Home Economics Teacher, and Tatu Niklas-Salminen, M. Sc. (Engineering), have amassed impressive know-how about different cultures.
Heini studied at Ho Chi Minh University in the Department of Languages and Cultures of South East Asia and has also studied cooking in Vietnam, India and France. In the Netherlands she worked as Sales Manager for the world's leading business information company and was Training Manager Europe for a food industry corporation.
Tatu spent his youth in Africa and studied at Tampere University of Technology. After completing his studies, he was Deputy Chief Representative for a Swedish-French garment manufacturing corporation and set up the clothing manufacturing operation for Nike Inc. in Vietnam. In the Netherlands, he was Nike EMEA Strategic Business Planning and Information Director. For Tatu, international business, training and negotiations with people from different cultures is part of everyday life.
